When I was eleven years old, I sold handmade quilling snowflake ornaments to a local gift store. Eight years later, I got my first retail job at that same store, because the owner remembered the little girl who came in, hawking her paper ornaments. Now, decades later, no matter what other crafts catch my attention, I always come back to paper.
